Grand Opening!
Welcome to my blog!
I am Mama to three amazing little Luv Bugs who are the inspiration and the heart and soul of everything I create! The inspiration for my new Etsy shop came from a visit to the craft store one day. My son wanted to paint something, so there we were....in the wood aisle for a good twenty minutes as he painstakingly looked over each and every piece of wood they had until he settled on something. While he looked, I did too. I happened upon some wooden letters and thought to myself, "Mommy needs a project too!" so I chose the letters of my youngest daughters name and brought them home. One day....while baby was napping....I took out my paints and began to create! When I showed them to a friend he said, "I would buy those". "So would I!" I thought! And so...Luv Bug Designz was born!
I quickly went online and found a supplier of wooden letters, who can create them in any size and any font imaginable. I ordered the names of my other children so I could test out my skill and to have some more examples of my work. Lucky for me the other designs came out just as awesome as the first.
As I painted and looked around the kids rooms, I realized there are so many other things I could paint to add style and flair to their room. I hope that Luv Bug Designz will bring just that to make nurseries and childrens room not just a place to sleep, but a place to play, dream and create!
